Health is Wealth

Introduction-

”Sound mind in a sound body” is an old saying. A healthy mind can be found only in healthy bodies. Good health is a boon. It is the most precious possession of a man and a real jewel for one’s body.  Someone has rightly said, “The greatest wealth is health.”

Importance of Good Health-

Health is the real wealth of a man. If a man loses his health the world loses all its charms for him. Ask the man who has lost his health. He will tell you the value of good health. Sick men have sick minds. Their attitude of life is gloomy. On the other hand, if a man has good health his outlook towards life is also healthy. He can work for long hours without feeling tired. If a student has good health, his memory is good and his mind is sharp.

How to Stay Healthy-

Good health cannot be acquired on demand. There are certain things which are essential for good health. Nutritious food comes first followed by plenty of water. We should take only that food which has nutritious value. Fresh air is also important for good health. People living in the open air with a sufficient amount of oxygen usually enjoy good health. We should do exercise regularly and go for a morning walk as it provides oxygen and improves blood circulation. Exercise plays a great role in making a man healthy. All exercises are health giving. Yoga and Meditation keep the body calm and energetic the whole day. Balancing decent hour of sleep and rest also contribute to good health. We should also go for regular medical checkups to stay healthy.

Fitness of Body and Mind-

Good health is a secret of a happy man. Staying healthy is also important for the proper growth and development of the mind and body. A person can face any problem or situation if he is healthy. It is very essential to keep both body and mind fit. Good health keeps us away from diseases and health disorders.

Reason Behind Degrading Health of People-

People generally fail to maintain good health due to their laziness. They prefer to spend money on buying medicine and paying to the doctors. There are certain things which are bad for health. We should get ourselves against them. Smoking is injurious to health. Eating too many spoils one’s digestive system. If a man is regular in his habits, he is likely to lose his health.

All people must realize that good health provides freedom of all sickness and diseases. So everyone must take care of their health to combat any kind of unprecedented illness as someone rightly said, “Prevention is better than cure.”
